Guide for use:
An indicator of whether there is evidence of invasion of cancer cells into blood vessels and/or the lymphatic system. Lymphovascular involvement usually precedes spread to the lymph nodes and hence is a predictor of lymph node metastases, although its value as a prognostic indicator is related to cancer type.
