Definition
Operational residential and community aged care places per 1,000 people aged 70 years and over (and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 to 69 years), excluding services funded through the Home and Community Care (HACC) Program.
Aged care places are residential and community aged care places provided under the Aged Care Act 1997 and services delivered under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Strategy.
