Definition
The National Patient Experience Dataset collects data is a standardised annual collection for the analysis of patient experience in Australian state and territory run run hospitals. Admitted patients staying for 1 or more night during the collection period are requested to complete a patient experience survey to determine staff and procedural satisfaction.
Data is collected by individual jurisdictions based on the National Patient Experience Dataset Specification that defines the required fields for collection.
