Indicator Summary
The probability of surviving five years in people with cancer is divided by the probability of surviving five years in the general population (matched on age, sex and calendar year).
Analysis will be undertaken using the ‘period’ method of calculation. See AIHW, CA & AACR 2008 Cancer Series no. 42. Cat. no. CAN 38.
