Number of children aged 0–14 years with hearing loss or otitis media
Total number of children aged 0–14 years
Hearing loss measured in three different aggregations of long-term conditions:
1. Complete and partial deafness
2. Complete and partial deafness and otitis media
3. All diseases of the ear and mastoid
Rates are directly age-standardised to the Australian population as at 30 June 2001, except for those relating to the Indigenous population.
