Indicator Summary
Numerator is restricted to overnight admissions, i.e. where the date of admission and date of separation are different.
Care types in numerator: rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric evaluation and management, psychogeriatric care, and maintenance care.
Rates are directly age-standardised to the Australian population as at 30 June 2001.
Presented per 1,000 population.
