Guide for use:

This data item is only applicable for those SAAP clients who have no income.

In the SAAP NMDS, this data element may be collected twice (for the client):

1. whether a client has applied for a government benefit, pension or allowance, but is still awaiting their first payment before the support period starts; and
2. whether a client has applied for a government benefit, pension or allowance, but is still awaiting their first payment after the support period ends.
